She is a French businessman. She is also an author and philanthropist. Moreover she is the richest woman in the world as of December 2023. She is the only child and legal heir of Liliane Bettencourt, the majority share holder of L'Oréal, the words largest cosmetic company.

       Bettencourt Meyer was born on 10th July 1953 in Neuilly-sur-seine a Posh sub urban area of Paris, France. Her father was Andre Bettencourt, a prominent politician who served as a minister under several presidents. Her mother was Liliane Bettencourt, the daughter of Eugene Schueller, the founder of L'Oréal. Bettencourt Meyer was born around extremely famous parent and inherited their passion for business and Philanthropy. 

     Bettencourt is a serious minded intellectual who has an active academic career. She has written several books on relations and correct mythology exploring the genealogy of the great gods and the family tree of Adam and Eve. She is a catholic who was converted to Judaism after marrying Jean Pierre Meyer. They have two children Jean Victor and Nicolas who are also board members of L'Oréal.

         She becomes the richest women in the world after her mother died in September 2017 leaving estate a worth of 44.3 Billion dollar. She was inherited at 33% stake in L'Oréal which has grown significantly high demand of beauty products. On January 2022, her net worth was estimated 94.9 Billion dollar.
