Behavioural Changes to Surrounding-Analogy to Folktales & Fables.
This is a composition for human analogy to Cockatoo depicted in ancient folktales. This is a very practical and rational story to the need of decayed society. People needs to guide their temperament to be passionate and decent to humanity. This is not only a story but this is an effort to explain more acceptable and understandable way of grasping traditional moral stories that can be implicated to solve the real life problems. The ancient philosopher observed the every elements of the living world and concluded some principles. Hence they doctrined guidance to enrich human value & mental peace. Read patiently as we described here....
Last December, we met Dr. Rajesh Ranjan, a Neuro Psychiatrist with a discussion on human behavioural sciences and mental health. He confessed, "Medicine is not essential to cure off many psychological disabilities. Most of the cases except the cognitive impairing and major neurological defects or damage, can be treated with proper counselling." He depicted one of the case study that was an application of ancient folklore or fables. Five years back, Sunil Yadav and Anita Yadav came with their eight year son, Surya for a counselling. They were in depression as their kid was not obeying them, becoming rude and reckless. They complained, "He always uses slang language in response to any simple asking." We are disappointing for donating our another son, Kiran to our friend Vijay Vashisth. The couple briefed, "We can't the match the two boys who took birth from a single womb on the same day. How they behave opposite, we can't imagine the contradiction." They mourned, "We gave away the good one to our friend, we have no option to get return."
Dr. Ranjan was hearing their story and lamentation. He asked, "Is he behaving such from his early days or later." Sunil replied, "No sir, he started from the past two and half year's."
"Yes! I am expecting this"-Dr. Ranjan talked to him. "What does your friend, Vijay do?"
"Vijay and me are friend from our school days"-Sunil started to recall. "After passing secondary standard we were split. I completed my Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering. On the other hand Vijay completed his Bachelor of Arts degree. I joined in a Fertilizer Company as a process engineer. Vijay joined as a school teacher. Both of us were happy. After all I married to Anita. Vijay married to Anju. Both family were happy, but after two years of the Vijay's merriment, one day he called me for Anju cant' be conceived but she loves to stay with him. They plan to adopt a child from known donor. Since Anita gave birth of twin. We happily wish to donate one of our baby to Vijay and Anju. They were happy to hear the proposal. On a auspicious day Kiran was handed over to the lap of Anju. Thus both of us were happy. Kiran was reared up with love and affection."
"So, everything was fine, no problem in this part"-Ranjan nodded his head and asked "Then any problem with Anita."
"Not, so any but we had some hard times during global economic recession"-Sunil recalled, "and low export demand, our factory was notified for suspension of work and I was in without pay. At that time we were not happy to live. Poverty made us blind, unruly. Simple issues made our talking unbearable. We were intolerable each of us. After economic recovery, factory was started again, I was absorbed in pay roll. Everything become normal. But we can't be satisfied with Surya."
"I find out the resemblance of the folktales of the Cockatoo, Please listen to me." Ranjan told to Sunil and Anita.
A Fables of Kakatua |
Long day ago a gentle man called Agasti from Magadha in ancient India. Once he passed by a cottage in a small village in the territory. This was a habitant of the marginal people who used to hunt wild animal in the nearby forest and woodlands.
They hunted birds and animals, kills them and cut in to pieces to sell in the market. They are more brutal than that of the traditional butcher. One day while Agasti was passing through hut, he saw a beautiful cockatoo sitting on the twig of guava tree. He was amazed with it's beauty. But when he approached to quench his visual thirst, the bird started to speak so ugly, he couldn't move forward. He escaped away, telling "What an ugly creature."
After few days later Agasti went to meet a Brahmin preacher. When he came to his ashram, he found a cockatoo as like the previous bird. He recalled the earlier happening and decided to go back. While he moved back, the strange bird came to him. The bird said amiably, "Sir, why you are going back, please sit & wait, my lord will come soon." Seeing the bird's politeness and gentleness, he was confused and thought how it was possible to show him such behaviour. He asked the bird, "I perhaps saw you in the poacher's hut with a rude experience as you were unruly and disgusting. How you behave so pretty now."
The Cockatoo bird chuckled to the words of the gentleman, "Sir, you are too some extend true but slight different, We are twin siblings in two. One day we sat in the twig, suddenly we found some hunters were coming to us. I flew away but my sister was caught by the hunters. They perhaps kept her in their nest. Thus she learnt their language and culture. Where as I came the Nestle of a Brahmin hut, I became habituate to his philosophy. I follow his spirituality."
"Perhaps you know the facts of your kid's misbehavior"-Ranjan advised," Let Surya admit to a missionary school for at least two years then find him."
After two and half years, Sunil came to Ranjan, "Your healing touch transformed Surya to a gentle boy. We can't believe, this was a rude boy once."
"Every parents need to control their passion in front of their children"- Dr. Ranjan advised.
