Hunza Valley-The Exotic Places in the Fairy Hilltop.
Today we are sharing some of exotic tourist places in the Karakoram mountainous valley. The most of important place is the Hunza Valley in the northern region of Gilgit-Baltistan of Pakistan. It was during the month May, we saw the summer beauty of the heavenly valley of Hunza. We met the resident of Hunza, called the people of ever youth. Once we heard about them, we were gradually encouraged about the magic of their mysterious beauty and youthfulness. Let us share all our experiences.

Hunza Valley is a floor land at 2438 Mtr. high elevation along the river Hunza in the lap of three countries of Pakistan, Afghanistan and China. In the northern part of the valley there lies the border of Ishkoman and Shigar is at southeast part of the valley. It is surrounded by the Chinas' Xinjiang in the northeast and Wakhan Corridor of Afghanistan. in the north of the valley. This land is sub divided into three parts, Lower Hunza (Shinaki), Central Hunza and Upper Hunza (Gojal).
Lower Hunza:
It is the sub region of Hunza boundaries surrounded with Nagar Valley in the south and east. This part of the valley starts from the village Khizir Abad and ends with Nasir Abad.
The people of Lower Hunza celebrates the occasion of Novroz, Salgirah and Ginani. In these festivals they serve the delicious foods Harisa and Sherbet. The food of these region are apricots, cherries and pulms.
Central Hunza:
This parts of Hunza valley starts from the beautiful village of Murtaza Abad and ends at Atta Abad village. Most of the peoples (97%) belong to Buddhism and rest 3% belongs to Domki speaks people. This Domki people settles to Momin Abad.
Upper Hunza:
Upper Hunza is the most beautiful places in the valley. This is the most populated places in the region. There are three different linguistic group of people. the upper Hunza valley starts from Ayean Abad village. This is nowadays an artificial lake formed after Atta Abad disaster.
The Places to Visit in the Hunza Valley.
Hunza is the most exotic places in the Karakorum Mountain region of Pakistan. It is situated above the 6000 Mtr. in the valley. This valley comprises with various spectacular peaks of magnificent mountains of the world. It includes Hunza Peak, Darmyani peak, Ultar Sar, Rakaposhi etc. The most important places to be visit in the Hunza Valley like Castle of Baltit, ancient watch tower in Ganish, Baltit fort, Altit fort, Borith lake, Rush Lake, Batura Glaciers, Chipursan Valley. Very interesting natural beauty found in the Borith lake in summer.
How to Reach Hunza Valley from various parts of World?
Hunza Valley can be reached by various modes of transportation. This can accessed via road or by plane. This is 100 Km away from Gilgit, It takes 2 to 3 hrs. from Gilgit and most of the people reached via Karakoram Highway. There are many agency who serve the jeep & bus services.
From China the international bus services plying through the Sost Crossing over the Khunjerab Pass. This is 5000 Mtr. High across the river Hunza.
From the Capital of Pakistan, Islamabad there is a 45 minutes flight service. Gilgit Airport is the small airport under Pakistan Airways (PIA). From India any traveler can reach to Hunza Valley but it needs a Visa from the Pakistan High Command. So it is convenient to apply through the Pakistan embassy in the respective country.
Most of the Hunza Tours are operated from Pakistan. There are various recognised travel agency, among which we mention the #Hunza Travel Service, #Hunza Guides Pakistan, #Hunza Adventures tours etc.
Peoples & Lifestyle. Why Hunza People lives long & Ever Youth?
Average age of Hunza is 80 years and above. This is because of the genetics of the people. These people belongs to nomads of middle east. They are fair skinned & light eyed hunzakuts, the descendants of soldiers of King Alexander. These people lives in a nature filled with fresh air & cold ambient. They eat healthy foods enriched with high dietary fiber easy to digest with high calorific value. They live happily with satisfaction & low expectation. They are free from chronic & lifestyle diseases. Thus they live long & become ever youth in the world.
